At 3rd Millennium Studio, we believe, besides offering our customers our usual total Web Development solutions, we should make the necessary marketing tools available to them too! Aim is to help our customers win customers for their business! Therefore we took a step beyond just Web Development service!
Our Opinion (And we could be wrong!!):
Don't get us wrong, we do not dispute that the Print Media (Newspaper Ads, Brochures, Hand Outs and such) as the marketing medium has the widest reach. Next would be the Electronic Medium (E-letters, Mass Mailing, Multi Level Marketing, Banner Ads etc). But here's the question - how many actually read them? And then, how many actually remember what they have read?
We are reasonably certain, one of the most effective Marketing Techniques that work - is distribution of your Company/Product/Service information on interactive CDs to targeted customers. However and without mincing words, we do admit, this COULD be more expensive than Print/Electronic Media marketing techniques (In terms of "Viewership"). At the same time, it could be well worth the expense!
In fact, we tend to think, CD-ROM marketing could even be much more effective than having a Web Site if you have localised & identified Customer Base!
CD Creation - The Way Forward:
The very predictable question many of our Overseas Customers ask is How can we ever handle this from so far away - specially since we are talking about Hard Copy on a CD? Answer is simple! Exactly the way we handle Web Development!! You suggest what you want to include in the CD (It could be your Web Sit, Service Information - Whatever). We design & develop the CD contents on our Web site for you to See, Comment, Recommend Changes & Inclusions.
Once that bit is done, we get down to creating the CD Autorun program (that's what makes the CD start by itself & bring up the Menu on your Monitor Screen) & the Navigation (Menu) Interface. And then, nicely pack all that we created on the Demo Web Site into the CD. Finally, design the CD Label & the Jewel Case cover, print off & paste/insert. That's it!!
Overseas customers would possibly be better off getting us to create the Master CD only (To reduce the mailing cost) & have it mailed to them. Then use the Master Copy (including Soft Copies of the CD Label & Cover Design) to make duplicates locally - or even at your office! (Need a CD writer of course).

Why Rich Media:
So, Why Rich Media really? Why not just a bunch of Static Pages, may be with a few Graphics thrown in for good measure? That could pack as much information too!! Yes, Sure! But that possibly will not get your prospective customers attention & therefore, the whole purpose, just may be defeated!!
Truth is, Most of us Adults (if not All), still have a bit of "child psychology" hidden somewhere within us! On lighter moments, we do enjoy reading a Harry Potter Or watching Flint Stones on TV Or playing an Arcade Game on our PC!
Truth is, we enjoy Action, Animation, Sound & Light, Inter-activity. Over a period, we have, gradually, grown out of Comic Strips!
We are told - Studies into Adult Psychology indicate, Rich Media produces 5 ~ 25 times more response rate than Static/Printed Advertising!!
Rich media in its simplest form combines static but colourful graphics, some interactivity, audio & information of course. More advanced (and pretty much common these days) would include Graphics, Information, Animation (Not GIFs - but Flash, Java etc), Higher level of Interactivity, Streaming Audio etc.

Our standard price for Flash work is $25 an hour. But how do you know how long would it take us to create a Medium to Large Flash Applet OR a Flash Projector file OR a Flash Presentation? Frankly, we wouldn't know either!! Not until you tell us, what you need, that is.
