Hierarchical Menubars for Site Navigation:
These have been in use for quite sometime now. But we do like to believe, our Hard Coded scripts are some what different. For that slight unusual look, we generally use Images for the main category links. The "pop-ups" could either be images or text links. We use timer functions to Show-Hide the sub-menus - which we believe, makes the operation slightly smoother.
The best part of all our scripts is that these "Fail Safe" on older browsers! By that we mean, if you are unlucky to have a few people with Version 3 or even Version 2 browsers (both PC & Mac versions) coming around to your site they won't be told to return with a Version 4+ browser! Although the DHTML pop-ups won't work, the main category will at least be clickable. And nor will they get any Script Error message.

DHTML Take-A-Tour:
Layered Pages, besides being "different" could be very useful for certain purposes. For instance, layered pages do come quite handy if you plan to have a Take a Tour on your WebSite, simply because each section will load immediately on selection rather than having to wait for an external page to load. Similar script can even be used for a short Online Presentation. The only disadvantage in this, if we may say so, is that, you can not have more than 4~5 (or possibly 6) layers - as otherwise, the page tends to become too heavy. Best effect can be achieved by having the layered page/s open into a separate pop-up window. If one wishes to add some more special effect, then "Internal Scrollers" can also be added rather than using the standard window scrollers. The script with internal scroller did give a "bit of trouble" on Mac versions of Netscape 4+ due to Memory Leak problem. However, we have since modified the script to get around this, too.
